Legacy Hardcore S Rank no dash. I'd rate its difficulty as 6 or 7. While it requires very precise timings, I don't think that it is that much harder than The Art of War due to Legacy's timings having a simple structure.
The Lunar Whale Hardcore S Rank no dash. No idea how to rate it. Whenever I'm hiding in the walls, sometimes I'm getting hit by nothing for no reason. I had to do some kind of movement in order to pass Hardcore without dashing. Let's say that the difficulty is 6.
Wow, you're really consistent with slipping through the cracks. Until now I'd never noticed that you have to aim a couple pixels below center. Nice videos!
I would say anything that takes 60-80 attempts is really hard as hendrixes go. Maybe I'm underrating Art of War, but I will point out that multiple people have done that one (I've done it multiple times, including I think one time in challenge mode), whereas until you came along, no one had managed Legacy or The Lunar Whale.
For now I'll split the difference, and take a point off of my difficulty ratings. If anyone else manages to pull it off, I'll adjust it further.
Oh. Definitely wasn't aware of the other attempts. I think I last checked a little before those videos came out.
I've updated the guide to point to their videos. Not to disrespect your hard work, I just prefer to give credit to the first person to pull it off. (Unless a song is patched or a better route is found, in which case I link to the earliest video showing the new strategy.)
Now that I think about it, you aren't the first person to post a video of Corrupted. LV 20 Chara posted one a few months back, but then the video got removed for some reason. I'll lower the difficulty rating to reflect that multiple people did it, but I'm still not convinced that a song requiring multiple pixel perfect tricks can be lower than 5.
Right now my only plans for the guide are to add videos as they become available. If you have ideas, feel free to suggest them, or even add them directly if you're feeling bold. I know it's located on my user page, but I always intended it to be a community effort.
Legacy S rank no dash (my video!). There is an earlier video by 하늘은파랗다, but its quality is significantly lower. Normal Legacy is viable on Challenge Run; if the bullets get in your way, you can just change your path. It's not impossible to do first try. While I did it on second try in the video, let's say that I restarted out of panic! <~<
When I assign difficulty ratings, I'm trying to keep in mind that not everyone has tens or hundreds of hours of experience. A rating of 1 means the song should be accessible to someone who's never even earned the Hendrix badge. A rating of 2 is just above that, and should probably also be viable for someone's first Hendrix. Is hardcore Crystal Tokyo really only one step away from normal Milky Ways?
As for the message thing, that's something that happens on Fandom. If you leave the page open for too long, you can no longer submit replies. When you hit "reply," all that happens is it deletes your work. That's why I'm in the habit of always copying my text before hitting the button. As long as I remember, I don't lose any work.
For instance: it happened right now, even though I didn't think I've had the tab open that long. But I'd copied it anyway out of habit, and everything was fine.
I think I'll go with the earlier Legacy video. Yours is more impressive, but it looks like staying at the bottom guarantees you won't be hit by horizontal pellets, which would make it the superior strategy. All else being equal, I like to showcase the easiest possible solutions.
